Each floor condition and desired finished result differs. A guide price is listed below.

• Basic concrete grinding (for epoxy etc.)                                               £32.50 per sqm 

• Mid‑range grind & seal / light polish                                                    £52.40 per sqm

• Higher spec polish, mechanical polish, exposed aggregate etc.    £84.25 per sqm

Reduced rates for 150sqm+

Several factors affect how much grinding concrete floors will cost:

• Condition of concrete (cracks, unevenness, thickness, previous coatings)

• How much material needs removing (how many mm of top layer, coatings, adhesives etc.)

• Level of finish required (basic flat, keying, polish, “grind & seal”, etc.)

• Location and labour rates

• Size of the area (smaller jobs tend to have higher cost per m²)

• Access, cleanup, dust control etc.
